How it works

Online tuition works the same way as standard tutor led sessions, with students and tutor seeing and talking with each other, the only difference is its done completely online rather than in person. Suitable for students studying English at KS3 and above.

All that’s needed is internet access on a laptop, or PC with webcam. There’s no need to download any apps if you connect using Edge or Chrome web browsers. If you connect using a tablet or mobile you'll need the free Teams app. Once a student is registered we'll send a link to let them join each secure online session.

Easy and Convenient

online education

Online tuition is an easy and convenient way to get extra help boosting grades and building a student's confidence. No matter where you live, online tutoring brings the tutor to the student at no extra cost!

Online sessions with a tutor may also use both screen sharing and an interactive whiteboard to conduct lessons. Tutor and student can send each other documents as well as work on the same document with every keystroke immediately visible. As with in person tutoring, each session will be carefully planned to plug gaps and provide the necessary support for students. Extra tuition helps develop a student’s core learning abilities, accelerate their progress faster and assists them in mastering exam techniques to better succeed in exams.

small group tuition online

Students can opt to study in a small group online instead of 1:1. By arranging a small group of 2 or 3 fellow students who are happy to study together, but with each student connecting separately, students can save a third of the cost compared to 1:1 tutoring. Group tuition still offers personalised tutoring, allowing each of them to progress and attain their best grades.

If you wish to study as part of a group then please indicate this on the Enquiry form, providing each student name and email address for a Student Registration form to be sent out to.
